2024 WTSDA World Championships
Two years have passed since the last gathering of World Tang Soo Do family members, and this coming summer we have the opportunity to meet again at the 2024 19th World Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina. The main events proceed in the Greensboro Coliseum, at Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons, and at the World Tang Soo Do Headquarters in Burlington, North Carolina.
As Grandmaster, it is an honor to extend to you my personal invitation to attend this bi-annual gathering which Cho Dae Grandmaster Jae C. Shin inaugurated in 1986, and as we continue to celebrate this tradition 38 years later. You will be able to reconnect with friends that you met last year from the USA and many other countries, and find time to make new friends during the numerous events.

WTSDA Ki Gong Clinic
In addition to the competition, consider registering for the pre-Championship Tang Soo Do and Ki Gong training clinics on Wednesday and Thursday sponsored by the WTSDA Technical Advisory Committee and the World Ki Gong Club. The instruction will be presented by Masters and Black Belts. Apply as soon as you can in order to reserve your attendance at one or more clinics.

September Black Belt Class
Every month, masters, black belts, and black belt candidates from all over Region 20 gather to practice different skills and techniques. Each month is devoted to a different aspect of martial arts and is integral to becoming an all around well rounded Tang Soo Do Practitioner.
This month, we will be working on our Region 20 Black Belt demonstration to be displayed at the 2024 Regional Championships! Make sure you come prepared to train on the beach under the sun so bring your hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and water!

Region 20 Summer Spectacular!
Join Region 20 for our 2024 Summer Spectacular at Tidelands Park on August 10! We will be training together as a region and all ranks are invited! Region 20 Demo Practice
If you are participating in the 2024 Black Belt Regional Demonstration please join us for one last regional practice to impress our incredible Region 20 families and spectators. Please be sure to be practicing your role in the demo to make sure everything goes smoothly for our final practice.

Region 20 Black Belt Exam
Testing for black belt in the 2024 testing cycle is a privilege that only happens twice a year. The test for black belt is a grueling test of physical and mental perseverance that is designed to push people to their limits. Come join us in cheering on the amazing candidates in their next step of their Tang Soo Do journey!

Region 20 Black Belt Written Exam
In addition to physical exam, those testing for black belt and above must first take and pass an online written exam hosted by Region 20. If you are testing for a black belt in the October 2024 testing cycle, you will receive an email from Master Soto to ensure all technology is capable of hosting the exam. This tech check is to be able to iron out any bugs or potential problems that might arise the day of. On October 12, you will sign onto Zoom and take your exam in full uniform.
