About the School:
Coastal Canyon Tang Soo Do (CCTSD) classes are taught at the Ocean Air Recreation Center in the Torrey Hills neighborhood of Carmel Valley. CCTSD has been teaching at this location since the building opened in 2010. A full complement of affordable classes are offered for the whole family - ages 4 and up.

About the School:
Mrs. Barbara Noriega is an E Dan and WTSDA certified Instructor. She took over the training at this location in 2020. She is highly dedicated to the World Tang Soo Do Association. As a founding member of the association's HDL team, she played a key role in helping to get this youth leadership development and demonstration team up and running. She currently serves Region 20 as the Regional Ki Gong coordinator and Social Media Coordinator. Recognized for her knowledge and dedication she also serves the association on the WTSDA 50 Marketing committee. Mrs. Noriega is a dedicated practitioner and instructor who loves to work with children. Her focus on being brilliant at the basics provides a solid foundation for all her students to build off of as they work under her guidance to become the best versions of themselves.

About the School:
M.A.S. Tang Soo Do was established in the summer of 2010 at the Mission Bay Montessori Academy. Master Miguel A. Soto taught Tiny Tiger, Little Dragon, and Gup classes with students as young as 3 years old. This was a big change for him because it was the first time he had classes that were only children and he had to change the way he taught. Teaching classes where it is primarily adults is completely different to teaching classes with students who are as young as 3. He was able to adjust and change his teaching style which resulted in the expansion of the studio. All of the families are a huge part of the studio and are the core of M.A.S. Tang Soo Do. In 2018, Bo Sah Bum Nim Laura Barrera became the Head Instructor alongside Master Miguel A. Soto. They continue to bring new changes as they progress the studio.

About the School:
M.A.S. Tang Soo Do – UCSD was established in 2014 at the University of California San Diego. Master Miguel A. Soto continues the 35+ years of Tang Soo Do at UCSD by trying to stick to some of the old school traditions he learned from Master Patrick Marsch along with bringing in some new school flare. Master Miguel A. Soto enjoys bringing Tang Soo Do to the college students in order to help promote self-confidence, health, and safety. With recent scares of violence on college campuses, the safety of the students became a high priority. Master Soto ensures that the students learn what was needed in order to be able to defend themselves in various scenarios they may find themselves in. We began to integrate community members in our class to be able to have a deeper range of students which helped expand the main focus of what was covered in class. In 2018, Bo Sah Bum Nim Laura Barrera became the Head Instructor alongside Master Miguel A. Soto. They continue to bring new changes as they progress the studio. In 2023, Bo Sah Bum Nim Laura Barrera was passed down the torch and chosen to guide M.A.S. Tang Soo Do - UCSD into the future!

Mobius Tang Soo Do is currently offering after-school classes in Encino, CA. As a philosophy, Mobius represents the continuous journey of martial arts. As a mobius is a circle that turns in on itself, so that the inner becomes the outer, so is the journey of a martial artist, never ending, white belt leading to black belt, and black belt leading to a new beginning again.

About the School:
Mountainlion Tang Soo Do began as a club in January of 2000 at the Rodgers Senior Center in Huntington Beach, California. We trained for many years there, sharing workouts with individuals and families, with students ranging in age from 5 years old to 75 years old. In addition to the 2 family classes, 2 adult classes, and a general Saturday class, we added a pre-workout to the Saturday morning class that allowed us to walk/jog the 3 blocks to the beach and take advantage of the Huntington Beach ocean air. In 2013 we became a certified school of the WTSDA. In July of 2016 the senior center was moved to a brand new facility in Central Park which was officially named the Senior Center in Central Park. We continued our 5 classes per week schedule, adding 1 session so in total we had 3 family classes and 3 adult classes per week.
Mountainlion TSD is honored to have Sah Dan Mark Schoenberger as an intricate member of the Mountainlion TSD family.
The school was founded by Sam Dan Frances Michael Cardinal who is the current head instructor .

About the School:
The studio was established October 1977 and originally led by master Young H. Kwon as a West Coast representation of the former U.S. Tang Soo Do Federation under Master Jae C. Shin. Master Larry D’Ercole took over the studio in 1980 and it soon became base for the many fine studios now in the San Diego region including locations in Mexico.
In November 1982 TSDKI became one of the charter member studios (#121) of the newly formed World Tang Soo Do Association. For well over four decades TSDKI has guided multiple generations and thousands of students in the many benefits and traditions of the Martial Arts. It has produced numerous highly qualified masters, instructors and several world champions. It has also expanded to a number of academic Institutions both in the USA and in Mexico. In 1992 together with its San Diego team of dedicated Black Belts, TSDKI was honored to host the 4th WTSDA World Championship celebrating the organization’s 10th Anniversary. With its many respected relationships and wonderful friendships both North and South of the border, the Institute is host to the USA/Mexico Friendship Tournament held annually from its hometown of Chula Vista, California. Master Larry D’Ercole together with chief instructor, Master Leslie A. Salinas are honored and remain dedicated to serve their students, the community, the region and beyond.

Trifecta Martial Arts was started in 2022 by Sah Bum Nim Nelson after he moved from the Pacific Northwest to Los Angeles, CA. Trifecta Martial Arts was founded on the idea that traditional martial arts training should be fun, accessible, and practical. The purpose of our studio is to make a meaningful impact on our students and our community through the training of Tang Soo Do.
