Closed… But not Shut Down!

Gyms and rec centers may be closed, but Region 20 Tang Soo Do training remains available to the community. Students at Coastal Canyon TSD are earning points for prizes with weekly Google Classroom assignments and virtual classes. Like many other WTSDA schools, Coastal Canyon pivoted to distance learning. Unlike most schools and businesses using remote meetings, who only need to see faces, we need to see students from head to toe!

"There have been a surprising number of technical challenges, but it has been worth the effort," says Master Kelly. "Seeing our students on line and receiving their photos, videos and emails is the best part of my day!"

Coastal Canyon is providing these activities and classes free of charge to established students. There are also classes taught across the globe by other WTSDA instructors. Coastal Canyon is also offering free "Karate Games at Home" to provide playful fitness to the local community. Please contact Master Kelly if you are interested in joining.
